God I miss them. I remember seeing this video for the first time a day after this got released. It was my first time delving into Gfriend and I just fell in love after watching Navillera MV. I'm still heartbroken that they disbanded.

I always wanted to Stan GFRIEND they're so good in everything and I have to come and watch this video some years later after they disband I feel so bad. I Wich they're still going and doing songs I kinda miss them ngl

SinB was really consistent during Gfriend. I think it was because she was a good supportive vocal in the group. She had a decent amount to sing with some chorus parts but she also had to sing the live choruses. I noticed this during 2016-2017. For the choruses they sing together, SinB was mainly the one singing while Eunha and Yuju rested. She probably would get tired if she had more solo parts. Also, if a member was missing SinB most likely would cover their parts. SinB was a good singer but her main role was support or if they needed her to fill in for another member.

the interesting thing about sinb, is that she never really deviates from her assigned vocal role. whereas members like umji get a massive boost in lines in later songs, sinb's spotlight (vocal wise) relatively stays the same. not that i'm complaining we love a stable queen ♥

So, about the concepts GFRIEND has their own concept which is called the “marchen” which means fairytale. And marchen is a germen word. GFRIENDS whole concept is about them turning into innocent girls to witches. Like in “Apple” m/v and the end GFRIEND became witches. And in their “Mago” m/v which mago meaning “wizard/magician.” GFRIEND were free and wanted to choose who they wanted to be. So, if you own any GFRIEND Album they come with a little Marchen book that tells you the storyline of glass bead to mago and I’m sure that they will be another book to their next release.
